As we officially got into the fall season, the guests kept on coming for The Stand-Up Sit-Down on CFCR.

First up we had our first female guest on the show, from Los Angeles.  Dawn Grabowski does not let the fact she has a physical disability slow her down in her pursuit of that one big break.  Then again, she has already acted in Jerry Maguire with Tom Cruise, so that’s a pretty good start.

Following Dawn, our guest Danny Knight cancelled on us twice, and the second time was at the last minute.  For this show we played clips of Jerry Corley from his comedy classes, discussing the science of comedy and audience psychology.

October 17th saw former radio show host and headliner Joel Jeffrey into the studio for a chat.  He seemed right at home behind the mic and excited to chat, as it was the first time he’d been on the radio since he left his morning show.

The last two shows in the month were a two part interview with Jerry Corley of The Stand Up Comedy Clinic from Los Angeles.  Jerry has a career resume and a consistent six figure income (all from comedy) that nobody in Saskatchewan, or Canada, can come close to matching.  What an insightful, honest chat with stories about Jay Leno, George Carlin and Robin Williams.  If you want to know the science behind comedy, this interview is a good place to start.

Now, on to November!
