Halfway through the month of March, we saw the show transition itself to an online only production with the temporary closing of the radio station.

The month started off the 3/4 of the local headliners in Saskatoon getting together for another comedy roundtable.  Myles Morrison, Junior Kushman and Joel Jeffrey had a great talk about what makes each other good on stage, Myles found out what comes up when he Googles himself and they talked about their various projects in the works.  For the Google thing, you have to listen to the interview.  It’s pretty hilarious!

The following week had no guests scheduled (not for a lack of trying), so we played the first half of the BBC documentary The Art of Stand-Up.  For my money it’s the best and most informative documentary on the art of stand-up comedy.

The first episode of the online only version of The Stand-Up Sit-Down had several local comics join me for an online chat about comedy and how we are all coping during these trying times.

Show #40 had a friend of the show, Los Angeles writer, comic and musician Keith Tyler join up with some of the local comics for a great chat.  They had lots of questions for Keith about his background and of his one man stage show currently in the finishing stages of being released.

As of right now, the situation has not changed for CFCR hosts.  We are not allowed into the building, and although some hosts are able to e-mail their digitally recorded shows to the station to play, we do not have that luxury.  In being the last show of the night, it has to be live in order for the host to start the overnight program.  So, recorded Canadian playlists are being played in its place.  This is the same for any late night show on the station.  When the situation changes and we are allowed back on the air, we will let you know.
